This new season looks awesome. Dan looks meaner then ever. He has to be the most evil guy on TV right now.
Yeah, they don't really pull any punches with him.

What is Dan up to this season?

So who do you think Lucas should be with -- Brooke or Peyton?

What was it like to dive in that gross river in the first episode of the season?

It looked far on TV, I'll tell you that.

So what else is coming up on the show? We've got a couple of pregnancies this season.
Oh yeah! Did they announce who was pregnant on the show yet?

They alluded to it. It's either Brooke or Haley.
Well, I can just say, yeah, we got pregnancies.

And Lucas' mom is pregnant?
She's having Keith's baby. I think it'll be a good story line for her.

So what's going to happen when all of you graduate at the end of this season?
I honestly don't know. There are certain pieces that it kind of feels like it's winding down. I don't know how far you can take a storyline like this. We graduate high school, and we can't all end up at the same college -- that's just kind of tacky. I think the writers pretty much have their work cut out for them in figuring out a new way to take a show after graduation. I think they've figured out a couple great ideas. It'll be nice to be done with high school and be able play something a little bit older.

So how much to do you love basketball?
I don't. I'm terrible. Actually the other day, it was so embarrassing. I had a little outburst. This season has been great. It's been calm, cool, collected; everyone has been just so kind. We've just been having a great time this year. We had basketball on Saturday, and it's just so hard for me. I played hockey, football and soccer -- those are my sports. I just do not have the basketball gene in me. Not one little spot on my body can play basketball. And I try, I do, I try to pull all my effort into it, and I just can't will the ball into the hole. For me it gets really frustrating and it's really tough, we had to do like 10 takes of me coming down the court and making a shot, I just couldn't get it done. And it's so embarrassing because there are 300 extras in the crowd and they're snickering and you get so embarrassed. It's so humiliating. At the end of the day, we got what we needed and we moved on. But there is not much basketball left, so that's good for me.

You'd think after all these years, you'd be a pro.
James is unbelievable. He's played basketball his whole life; he's incredibly talented at the sport. For myself, I just can't do it. I've got better ball control now, but I just can't get the ball in the hoop. 

So I just read you shot a movie with 50 Cent and Samuel L. Jackson?
Yeah, we did a film called, 'Home of the Brave.' Irwin Winkler directed and he's just an icon in this business. He has produced everything from 'Raging Bull,' 'Goodfellas.' The last movie he directed was 'Life as a House,' which I personally loved. He's just an incredible man; he is so kind and so stress-free. He made it such a great experience. It's an anti-war film, and I'm not sure you want to quote me on that, but for the most part it's an anti-war film. To me it's kind of the negative purposes of war.

What kind of character do you play?
A little bit more of the louder type. The guy who is just kind of fun and good spirited. He's there for a purpose, he's there to be there for his boys and get home to his girl. That's all he thinks, all he knows, all he wants. He's got a heart of gold, but at the same time he just loves to have fun. He's a little louder then anything I've done before.

What about being on the new CW network?
Well, I don't really get involved with all that. I just wait for the phone call that tells me to go to work or don't go to work. I don't really get into that, and I didn't think about it at all.

I guess with being far away from L.A. you don't really have to get into that.
Yeah, and I intend to keep it that way for myself. Being centered, I guess. I have my  business center in L.A. and being outside of town is kind of nice.

Being on the new CW, it seems there may be some potential to do a cross over with another show on the network. Are there any TV shows you could see 'One Tree Hill' crossing with?
I want to go to 'Supernatural.' All my boys are over there, and they get to have fun all the time. Cross me over there. Let me kill some ghosts.
